T-56 Swap into a 98 IRS equipped Cobra Trying for sub $3,000 for everything shipped.

Poll: Selling old parts to offset budget: cheating or not?

If I sell my old parts and subtract that against what I've spent, is it cheating?

No, I went from a .67 to a .62. I feel where the T-56 will really shine is going from 4th to 5th gear. Instead of falling on its face it will still be able to accelerate.

I think you are right.

You will still have some performance in 5th and then 6th as the cruising gear.

I have a tranny (Tr3650) with a 0.74 5th and standard 3.27 diff - it is great on the 'bahn, just missing the cruising gear.
